New Jersey Pick 6 draws six numbers from 46 on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. The format, the odds, and when the result lands in the Gulf and India.

The short answer. New Jersey Pick 6 is a six-from-46 jackpot game run by the New Jersey Lottery. Six balls come out of a single set of 46 on Monday, Thursday and Saturday nights at 10:57 PM Eastern, and a line takes the top prize by matching all six of them in any order. Nothing else is drawn alongside them: no bonus ball, no second pool.
| Game | You pick | Drawn | Draw time |
|---|---|---|---|
| New Jersey Pick 6 | 6 numbers from 1–46 | Monday, Thursday and Saturday | 10:57 PM ET |
Six numbers, one pool, one machine. You mark six different numbers between 1 and 46; on draw night six balls are taken from that same range, and the six you marked either appear among them or do not. Because each ball leaves the set once it is drawn, a result can never show the same number twice — if a Pick 6 row anywhere shows a repeated figure, the row is wrong.
Sorting is cosmetic. Our results page lists the six from lowest to highest because that is the easiest order to scan a ticket against, while a broadcast shows them in whatever sequence the machine produced. Neither ordering is the result. The set of six is.

No six-ball jackpot game recorded on this site draws from a pool smaller than 46. That one fact does more to a game’s odds than any feature a lottery can advertise, because the number of possible lines grows brutally fast as balls are added: each new ball can pair with every combination that already existed.
New Jersey Pick 6 top-prize odds: there are 9,366,819 ways to choose 6 numbers from 1–46, so matching all of them with one line is 1 in 9,366,819. This is arithmetic on the game’s format, not a claim about any draw.
The shortest of a set of very long odds is still very long. The figure above runs to millions to one, and it applies to every draw equally: Monday’s draw knows nothing of Thursday’s. What a smaller pool changes is the comparison with its neighbours, not the experience of holding a ticket.
Jackpot Triple Play in Florida also draws six from 46, so the top-prize odds for one of its lines are identical to the number above. Both are computed from the format, and both land at 1 in 9,366,819. What separates the two games is not the mathematics of a line but how many lines a play gives you, which our guide to Jackpot Triple Play goes through.
Several US games sell an add-on that lifts the lower tiers, and the multi-state games pair their main draw with a second, smaller pool. Pick 6 has neither inside its drawn result, so the odds line above is the whole story rather than a starting point. What the New Jersey Lottery pays for each tier, and what a play costs, are matters for the operator and not figures we publish.
Three draws a week sounds like every other night, and it is not. The nights sit unevenly: three days pass between Monday and Thursday, then two to Saturday, then two more back round to Monday. Anyone checking on a fixed personal rhythm drifts out of step with the game inside a fortnight.
The practical version of that, for a reader on this side of the world, is to think in mornings rather than in weekday names. Tuesday, Friday and Sunday mornings are the three times a new Pick 6 result is available in the Gulf, and each one belongs to the previous evening in New Jersey. It also means Pick 6 shares all three of its nights with Illinois Lotto, which runs on the same Monday, Thursday and Saturday schedule slightly earlier on the clock.
10:57 PM Eastern is one of the latest draw times in the United States, within a couple of minutes of the big multi-state games. Late in New Jersey is early here: by the time the result is published, the Gulf is waking up and South Asia is already well into its morning. That puts Pick 6 in the useful half of the US timetable for a reader in Dubai. The earlier American draws — Ohio at five past seven, Michigan at half past — are settled in the dead of night and are hours old by the time anyone here looks at them, while a Pick 6 result is minutes old at breakfast.
| Game | Local draw time | UAE (GST) | India (IST) | Pakistan (PKT) | UK |

Converted for 22 October 2026. US clocks change in March and November, which moves every US draw by an hour against the Gulf and India; this table is recalculated every time the page loads.
Two things move that table. American clocks shift in March and November, which slides every US draw by an hour against the Gulf; and the calendar date turns over on the way, so a Saturday draw in New Jersey is a Sunday-morning result in Dubai or Mumbai. Our archive always files a draw under its New Jersey date. Go looking for a Sunday result and you will find nothing, because there was no Sunday draw — only a Saturday one that finished while you slept. The same pattern across every US game we follow is laid out in US lottery draw times for India and the UAE.
No, and this is the most common mix-up with the game. American lotteries use the word “Pick” for two entirely different shapes. In most states a Pick 3 or Pick 4 is a digit game: each position is drawn separately from 0 to 9, 4-4-4 is a perfectly ordinary outcome, and where a digit falls decides whether a play wins. New Jersey’s Pick 6 is a ball game, so its six figures are always different and position is irrelevant.
If you have arrived from a digit game, none of the habits transfer. There is no straight-or-box choice on a six-ball ticket, no fixed payout per matched position, and no reason to write your six in any particular order. Our guides to the Florida Pick games and to straight versus box plays cover that other family; almost nothing in either applies here.
Pick 6 sits with the other state games on our US state lottery results hub, alongside Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia. If you would rather work from one list of everything on the site, the winning numbers index carries every game we record, and how to check results walks through the process in general terms.
Three draws a week fill an archive quickly, and a full archive always looks patterned. Some numbers will be ahead of the rest, a few will have been absent for months, and none of that is a signal. Every ball goes back into the set before the next draw, so each of the millions of possible lines is as likely on Thursday as it was on Monday. No number is ever owed an appearance.
We publish the frequency counts anyway, on our lucky numbers page, because people look for them — and beside them the result of testing that kind of picking against random choices across hundreds of past draws. The two performed the same, and the page says so plainly.
Every draw below is recorded here after it is published, with a dated archive behind it.
