Florida Jackpot Triple Play draws six numbers from 46 on Tuesday and Friday, and every play carries three lines. How to check them, and the real odds.

The short answer. Jackpot Triple Play is a Florida Lottery game that draws six numbers from 1 to 46 every Tuesday and Friday at 11:15 PM Eastern. There is one draw, but each play carries three lines of six numbers, so you check three lines against the same result. A line wins the jackpot by matching all six.
The draw itself is an ordinary six-number lottery. Six numbers come out of a set running from 1 to 46, and that single set of six is the result. What makes the game different is on the ticket side: one play is not one line but three, each a separate group of six numbers. All three are entered in the same draw and all three are compared with the same six drawn numbers.

People who meet the name for the first time often expect three results, or three sets of balls, or a result that has to be tripled somehow. None of that happens. Our results page shows one line of six numbers per draw because the Florida Lottery draws one line of six numbers per draw.
The trap with a three-line play is checking the first line carefully, finding nothing, and stopping. The second and third lines are just as much in the draw as the first. The simplest method is to write down or highlight the six drawn numbers first, then take each line in turn.
Each line is its own entry. A number that appears on all three of your lines and in the draw counts once on each of those lines, as a match for that line alone. Matches cannot be moved from one line to another, and a prize, if there is one, belongs to the line that earned it. What each match count pays is set by the Florida Lottery and is listed in its own prize information.
Jackpot Triple Play top-prize odds: there are 9,366,819 ways to choose 6 numbers from 1–46, so matching all of them with one line is 1 in 9,366,819. This is arithmetic on the game’s format, not a claim about any draw.
That is the chance for one line. A play has three different lines, and only one combination of six can be drawn, so at most one of the three can be the jackpot line. The chance that a play contains the jackpot combination is therefore three times the chance for one line: the 9,366,819 possible lines divided by three, which is about 1 in 3,122,273 per play.
Why exactly three times, and not a little less? Because the three events cannot overlap. If line one is the drawn combination, lines two and three, being different, cannot also be it. When outcomes exclude each other like that, their chances simply add, so three lines give three chances out of the same total. The same would not be true of smaller prizes: two lines can both match three numbers on the same night, so for the lower tiers the chance per play is somewhat less than three times the chance per line.
It is worth being clear about what that does and does not mean. Three lines cover three combinations out of the same total, exactly as three single-line tickets with different numbers would. The game has not made any one line more likely to win; it has packaged three lines together. And the three-line play is still a very long shot by any ordinary measure.
The pool size matters more. Jackpot Triple Play draws from 46 numbers, while Florida Lotto draws its six from 53. Those seven extra balls give Florida Lotto about 2.5 times as many possible lines. Our Florida Lotto guide covers that game on its own, and Florida lottery games explained places both among the other Florida draws.
Florida’s draws run on Eastern time. At 11:15 PM Eastern, Jackpot Triple Play is one of the latest US draws of the night, and on this side of the world it arrives with the morning.

Tuesday’s draw appears on Wednesday morning in Dubai, Kochi or Lahore, and Friday’s on Saturday morning. Florida Lotto takes the other two nights, Wednesday and Saturday, at the same time, so a reader who follows both has a Florida six-number result on four mornings a week. The two never share a night, which also means a ticket for one can never be checked against the other’s result by accident if you go by the draw date. Our archive files every result under its Florida date.
It is tempting to use a three-line play to spread choices across “frequent” and “overdue” numbers from the archive. It makes no difference. Each draw is independent, every possible group of six is equally likely every Tuesday and Friday, and a number’s past record does not change its chance next time. The only thing three lines change is how many combinations a play covers.
The lucky numbers page shows how often each Jackpot Triple Play number has appeared, next to a test showing that choosing by those counts does no better than choosing at random. For every other Florida game in one place, see the Florida lottery results page.
