The short answer. The Lottery Sambad 1 PM result is drawn at 1:00 PM India Standard Time every day of the year and is published by the Nagaland State Lottery in Kohima. The headline result is one first-prize ticket: a series code plus a five-digit number. The full sheet, carrying the consolation and the second to fifth prize tiers, is a separate document and often reaches the public the following day.

Of the three daily draws, the 1 PM is the one people check in the middle of a working day, usually on a phone, usually in a hurry. That is exactly when a half-remembered number and a sheet from the wrong slot do the most damage. This guide covers the 1 PM slot on its own: the clock, the state lottery behind it, what its sheet contains, and how to pull up a 1 PM result from last week without hunting for it.

One o’clock in the afternoon, India Standard Time, every single day. India does not move its clocks, so the hour never shifts for summer and there is no separate Sunday or holiday timetable. For readers following from the Gulf, 1 PM IST is 11:30 AM in the UAE and Oman, and 12:30 PM in Pakistan. Our guide to Lottery Sambad result times converts all three slots for the countries where most of these readers live.

Being first in the day has one practical effect worth knowing. The 1 PM sheet is the earliest document of the day and it goes through the same manual preparation as the other two, so a search at 1:05 PM will almost never find a completed sheet. The ticket number travels faster than the document does.

Who runs the 1 PM draw, and why does that matter?

The Nagaland State Lottery, in Kohima, runs the 1 PM slot. It also runs the 8 PM slot. The 6 PM draw between them belongs to the Sikkim State Lottery in Gangtok. Three draws, two state lotteries, and the difference is printed at the top of every sheet.

So the header is not decoration: it is your first check. If the document in front of you names a different state lottery from the one that ran your draw, you are comparing your ticket against the wrong result, and no amount of careful digit-matching will fix that. Our guide to who actually runs Dear Lottery sets out the split in full.

What is printed on a 1 PM result sheet?

Every 1 PM sheet carries the same blocks in the same order, which is what makes it quick to read once you have done it twice. Three of those blocks do most of the work.

The first-prize line

One ticket, printed in full: the series code, then the five-digit number. Nothing else in the draw beats it, and there is only ever one of it on a sheet.

The consolation line

Sitting with the first prize, this covers the same five digits sold in a different series. If your number is an exact match but your series code is not, the consolation line is the one to read, not the first-prize line.

The ending blocks

Below the ten second-prize numbers, the sheet stops printing whole tickets and prints endings: the last four digits only. Series codes and leading digits stop mattering there entirely.

For the document part by part, including the draw number and the date format, read how to read a Lottery Sambad result sheet. Here it is enough to know that the sheet is the authority and a circulating number is not.

How do I check a 1 PM ticket?

Work in this order and the whole thing takes under a minute:

  1. Read the slot and the date on your own ticket first, before you open anything.
  2. Open the 1 PM result page and find the sheet for that exact date.
  3. Check that the header names the state lottery that ran your draw, and that the weekday inside the draw name matches the date.
  4. Compare the first-prize line in full, series code included.
  5. If the five digits match but the series does not, read the consolation line.
  6. Then take your last four digits down through the second, third, fourth and fifth prize blocks, remembering that the lower blocks print endings rather than whole numbers.

The sequence is the same for every slot, and our step-by-step ticket checking guide goes through each tier in more detail, with the mistakes that cost people a valid lower prize.

Where are older 1 PM results kept?

Three places, depending on how far back you need to go. The 1 PM page holds the last ten sheets for this slot, so last week is a scroll away. Each individual day also has its own page, showing all three draws together with their sheets.

As an example, the day page for 1 November 2026 carries that date’s 1 PM draw alongside its 6 PM and 8 PM draws.

For anything older, a monthly page puts every stored draw day of one month on a single screen, which is the quickest way to work through a ticket you found weeks later. The guide to using the monthly chart explains what the dashes in it mean, and finding an old result by date covers how long the official sheets stay available.

What if today’s 1 PM result is not showing?

Nothing has gone wrong and the draw has not been cancelled. Check the clock first: the afternoon draw has to happen before anything can be published, and the document that follows it is typed and uploaded by hand. We put a draw up here only once its sheet has been checked for one first-prize ticket, the right date and the right weekday, which is a deliberate delay rather than a technical one. Until then the page says the sheet is being prepared instead of showing an empty space.

Treat screenshots on messaging groups with suspicion in the meantime. A photograph of a sheet carries no date you can rely on, it may be a different slot, and it can be edited. If you plan to act on a result, act on the sheet for the right slot and the right date. How every result here is confirmed before it goes up is set out in how we collect and verify results.

We do not run this draw. This is an independent results archive. We do not sell tickets, we have no connection to the Nagaland or Sikkim state lotteries or to any distributor, and we cannot confirm, claim or pay a prize. Dear Lottery and Lottery Sambad tickets are sold only where state law allows state lotteries, and the rules depend on where you are, so ask the official operator. Always confirm a winning ticket against the official sheet.

Frequently asked questions

The draw takes place at 1:00 PM India Standard Time every day of the year, including Sundays and public holidays. The first-prize ticket becomes known shortly afterwards. The full official sheet, which lists every prize tier, is prepared separately and is often uploaded the next day.
The 1 PM slot is run by the Nagaland State Lottery, based in Kohima. The same state lottery runs the 8 PM draw. The 6 PM draw in between is run by the Sikkim State Lottery in Gangtok, so its sheet carries a different header.
It is a single ticket, printed as a series code of two digits and a letter followed by a five-digit number. Only that exact combination takes the first prize. The same five digits in any other series take the consolation prize instead.
Yes. The 1 PM draw runs every day of the week. Only the marketing name printed on the sheet changes from day to day, and it carries the weekday inside it, so a Sunday sheet reads as a Sunday draw.
The 1 PM result page on this site keeps the last ten sheets for that slot, each one an image of the document itself. Older draws have their own dated pages, and a whole month of all three slots can be read on a single monthly page.
