The short answer. Florida runs eight draws in three groups: two twice-weekly jackpot
games, a five-number game that draws twice a day, and four digit games. Between them there is a Florida
result to check every single day.

These two are easy to confuse because both draw six numbers and both draw at 11:15 PM Eastern. They are
separate games with separate jackpots. Florida Lotto takes its six from a pool of 53 and
draws on Wednesday and Saturday. Jackpot Triple Play takes its six from a smaller pool of
46 and draws on Tuesday and Friday, so the two never clash.
The "triple play" in the name refers to the ticket rather than the draw: a ticket carries three sets of
six numbers instead of one. The draw itself produces a single set of six, which is what appears on the
results page.

Fantasy 5, twice a day
Fantasy 5 draws five numbers from 36, once at lunchtime and once late in the evening. The two draws are
completely independent of each other, which is why this site keeps them as two separate games with two
separate archives rather than one game with two rows a day.

The Pick games
Pick 2, Pick 3, Pick 4 and Pick 5 are digit games: each position is drawn independently from 0 to 9, so
a result of 6-0 or 9-4-5-2-3 is exactly what it looks like. Repeated digits are normal and expected. All
four draw at 9:45 PM Eastern.

On patterns in daily games
Games that draw every day build an archive fast, and a large archive makes patterns look meaningful when
they are not. Each Florida draw is independent of every draw before it. Our
lucky numbers page publishes the frequency counts for all eight games and,
beside them, the measured performance of that analysis against pure chance. The two are level, and the
page says so rather than dressing the result up.
