New York Numbers draws three digits and Win 4 draws four, at midday and in the evening. Draw times abroad, reading a zero, the odds, and checking a ticket.
Published 19 October 2026 · the numbers in this guide are read live from our archive.
The short answer. New York Numbers draws three digits and Win 4 draws four, each digit from 0 to 9, twice a day at 2:30 PM and 10:30 PM Eastern. That is four separate results every day. Repeats and leading zeros are normal. A straight play is 1 in 1,000 for Numbers and 1 in 10,000 for Win 4.
They are New York’s two digit games. Instead of drawing numbered balls from one large set, each game draws a single digit for each position, from 0 to 9, and starts again from all ten digits for the next position. That is why the same digit can appear twice or even in every position.

Four rows, four archives. Each one on this site is kept separately, because a midday Numbers result and an evening Numbers result are no more related than a Numbers result and one from another state. Our midday and evening guide goes into why that separation matters; here it is enough to know which of the four your ticket belongs to.
Florida calls its digit games Pick 3 and Pick 4, California calls them Daily 3 and Daily 4, and people who move between states search for those names. New York uses its own: Numbers for three digits and Win 4 for four. The format is the same kind of game, so anything you know about Pick 3 or Pick 4 elsewhere carries over, but the results are New York’s alone.
The name to be careful with is Pick 10. In New York that is not a digit game at all: you choose ten numbers from 1 to 80 and twenty are drawn. Someone searching for a New York “pick” result can land on it by mistake. If your ticket has three or four single digits on it, you want Numbers or Win 4, not Pick 10.

Converted for 19 October 2026. US clocks change in March and November, which moves every US draw by an hour against the Gulf and India; this table is recalculated every time the page loads.
For readers in the Gulf and South Asia, the practical version is short. In the UAE the 2:30 PM ET draws come in late in your own evening, on the same date; in Pakistan and India they land close to midnight, so check the table above for which side of it they fall on today. The 10:30 PM ET draws come in overnight everywhere and are waiting in the morning, dated the previous day in New York. That second point matters when you look a result up: a ticket for Tuesday evening is found under Tuesday, even though you are reading it on Wednesday.
Zero is a digit like any other, so it can be drawn in the first position. Exactly one tenth of all possible results start with it: 100 of the 1,000 Numbers results and 1,000 of the 10,000 Win 4 results. Results like 0-8-6 or 0-0-4-1 are therefore routine.
The trouble comes when a result is written as a number rather than as digits. Spreadsheets, messages and some data feeds drop leading zeros, so 0-8-6 turns into 86 and 0-0-4-1 into 41. Those look like two-digit numbers and are easy to check against the wrong thing. Our archive stores every result at its full length for exactly this reason. When you copy a result anywhere else, keep it as digits, and when someone sends you a short result, pad it back with zeros at the front before checking your ticket.
Numbers Evening top-prize odds: there are 1,000 possible 3-digit results, from 000 to 999, so an exact-order (straight) play is 1 in 1,000. This is arithmetic on the game’s format, not a claim about any draw.
Win 4 Evening top-prize odds: there are 10,000 possible 4-digit results, from 0000 to 9999, so an exact-order (straight) play is 1 in 10,000. This is arithmetic on the game’s format, not a claim about any draw.
Those are straight odds, for the exact order. Midday and evening draws have identical odds because the format is identical. A box play, which accepts your digits in any order, changes the figure depending on whether your digits are all different or include a repeat. The counting for every case, including the 24-way, 12-way, 6-way and 4-way boxes in Win 4, is set out in our straight vs box guide, so it is not repeated here.
Numbers and Win 4 draw in the same slot, but they are two games with two results. A 7 in the Numbers result does not make a 7 more or less likely in Win 4. Treat them as you would two games in two different states.
The published result is simply the digits drawn. Whether those digits win for you depends on how the ticket was played — straight, box or another option New York offers. Two people can hold the same digits and get different outcomes.
The New York results page lists all four digit draws alongside the state’s other games, with a live Eastern clock, so you can see at a glance whether the next draw has happened.
Four results a day build a long archive quickly, and a long archive is exactly where the eye starts finding streaks. The same digit showing in three draws running, or a number repeating a week later, looks meaningful and is not: each draw starts from all ten digits again, with no memory of the last one. A particular three-digit result has the same 1 in 1,000 chance tonight whether it came up yesterday or has never come up. Our lucky numbers page publishes the digit counts for all four draws, with the test that shows choosing from them does no better than chance.
Every draw below is recorded here after it is published, with a dated archive behind it.
