The short answer. MEGA 7 is the Sunday Emirates Draw game: seven different numbers are
drawn from 1 to 37 at 9:00 PM GST (10:30 PM in India). Its pool is smaller than EASY 6’s, but because
you need seven matches rather than six, the number of possible combinations is several times larger.

A MEGA 7 line is seven different numbers from 1 to 37. On Sunday night seven balls are drawn from the same
range. What decides a result is how many of your seven appear among the drawn seven; the position and order
of the balls do not matter at all. The operator pays prizes for several match counts below seven, and our
prize tiers page covers how tiers work in general. Prize values themselves are
the operator’s to publish, so they do not appear in this guide.

What does “seven from 37” actually mean?
It means the draw picks a set of seven numbers out of thirty-seven, and a set is all that counts. A useful
way to see how many sets there are is to count in two stages.
First, count the draws as if order did matter. The first ball can be any of 37 numbers, the second any of the
36 left, the third any of 35, and so on down to the seventh ball, which can be any of 31. Multiply those seven
numbers together and you get 51,889,178,880 possible ordered
sequences.
Second, notice that each set of seven numbers turns up in that list many times, once for every order the
same seven balls could have come out in. Seven balls can be arranged in
5,040 orders. Since order does not matter to a result,
divide the first figure by the second, and what is left is the number of genuinely different MEGA 7 results:
10,295,472.
MEGA 7 top-prize odds: there are 10,295,472 ways to choose 7 numbers from 1–37, so matching all of them with one line is 1 in 10,295,472. This is arithmetic on the game’s format, not a claim about any draw.
One line covers exactly one of those sets. Using the same numbers every week does not change that, and
neither does choosing numbers that look random rather than, say, seven in a row. Every set is exactly as
likely as every other.
Big numbers are hard to picture, so here is one way to scale it. There is one MEGA 7 draw a week. To see
every possible set of seven come up once, at one draw a week and with no repeats, would take about
197,990 years. That is not a forecast of anything, since
draws are random and one set could come up twice while another never does; it is simply what a count of that
size means in Sundays.
Why is the combination count so much larger than EASY 6’s?
At first glance MEGA 7 looks like the kinder game. Its pool stops at 37, where EASY 6 goes up to 39, and a
smaller pool sounds easier. The arithmetic says otherwise, and the reason is worth understanding because it
applies to every lottery format.
Start from a six-number version of MEGA 7: six from 37. That has
2,324,784 possible sets. Now ask for a seventh number. Every
one of those six-number sets can be extended by any of the 31 numbers not yet used, but each seven-number set
gets counted seven times that way, once for each of its numbers being “the last one”. So adding
the seventh ball multiplies the count by 31/7, which is more than four.
Shrinking the pool from 39 to 37 pulls the six-number count down by less than a third. Needing a seventh match pushes it up by more
than four times. The second effect wins easily, which is why MEGA 7 has
10,295,472 possible results against EASY 6’s
3,262,623, roughly 3.2 times as many. The

Does the bigger number make MEGA 7 a worse game?
Not on that figure alone. The lower tiers are far more likely than a full match in any of these games, and
a game is more than its top-prize odds. We do not
compare prizes, because those are set and published by the operator. What the arithmetic tells you is how
rare a full match is, and nothing about whether a game is worth playing.
What about partial matches?
Matching some of the seven is far more common than matching all of them, and the match counts that pay are
set by the operator. When you check a line, you are really asking how many of your seven are in the drawn
seven, and that count is all you need to take to the official prize table.
How do I check a MEGA 7 result on Sunday night?
- After 9:00 PM GST on Sunday (10:30 PM IST, 10:00 PM PKT), open the
MEGA 7 results page.
- Check the date on the top card matches the Sunday your line was for.
- Tick each of your seven numbers that appears in the drawn seven, ignoring order.
- Count the ticks, and compare that count with the operator’s prize table.
- For an earlier Sunday, open the MEGA 7 past results and find the date;
each draw has its own page.
Each draw page also lists a few facts about that combination, among them how many numbers fell in the low
half of the range (1–18) and how many in the high half (19–37), the spread from lowest to highest,
and any numbers repeated from the Sunday before. With seven balls from 37, repeats from one week to the next
are common rather than remarkable: each week’s seven numbers cover almost a fifth of the whole range.
None of this predicts the next draw.
Sunday night in other time zones
MEGA 7 closes the Emirates week: FAST 5 on Thursday, EASY 6 on Friday, WILD 5 on Saturday, MEGA 7 on Sunday,
then nothing until the next Thursday. That makes the MEGA 7 result the newest Emirates Draw number on the site
from Sunday night through to Thursday evening.
